Gossiping the Gospel Everday

This week at Christ Community Church we are going to consider the joyful work of sharing our faith with others. Evangelism is something that has been central to the life of the church ever since the beginning, and the only way the church continues to thrive is through gospel proclamation – the telling of the good news of all that God has done for sinful men and women in Jesus Christ. But this work can often seem difficult and intimidating. So this week we want to take time to consider exactly what evangelism is, why we need to be radically committed to it, and how we can make it a priority in our everyday life. Someone once said, “We can’t help but constantly talk about what we love the most.” This quote helps me evaluate how deeply the gospel has impacted my life. What do I talk about most? Better yet, who do I talk about the most? We have a tendency to talk a lot about what we love, and usually love what we talk about. So lets come prepared this weekend to consider how we can learn to go about gossiping the gospel everyday.
